le cartouche

Inspired by traditional Egyptian cartouches, I wanted to create my own version. A series of symbols to develop my own dreamlike language, to be decoded or interpreted, much like hieroglyphs.

I gathered motifs and concepts that are dear to me to create these three cartouche designs: Baddie, Breathe, and Extra Luck.

Imagined as small amulets, each has its own personality and meaning.
