Inspired by traditional Egyptian cartouches, I wanted to create my own version. A series of symbols to develop my own dreamlike language, to be decoded or interpreted, much like hieroglyphs.
I gathered motifs and concepts that are dear to me to create these three cartouche designs: Baddie, Breathe, and Extra Luck. Imagined as small amulets, each has its own personality and meaning.
Baddie is for strength. Armed with a double-headed axe, barbed wire, and a sword with a wavy blade, it's time to pull out the weapons and show some teeth. Nothing can stop us, no rest for the weary!
Breathe, on the other hand, invites you to calm down. Put productivity and anxiety on hold for just two seconds and breathe. Inhale. Exhale. It’s all going to be OK.
Extra Luck is, truly, pure luck in a bottle. Take all the superstitions lying around and pile them up: a four-leaf clover, a horseshoe, and a shooting Star. If you still didn’t pass your exam, I don’t know what else to do.
Each model is available in silver or gold-plated brass, with a choice of a 42, 45, or 50 cm chain.
Dimensions: 3.5 cm x 1 cm, 2 mm thick.
Each piece is handmade to order (I have little to no stock available), so please allow 3 to 5 weeks for production.

The silver option is made out of sterling silver (925).
The golden option is made of recycled brass with a thick 18K gold-plating. The gold plating process is carried out by a professional in Antwerp, guaranteeing a long-lasting shine.

Care
Care
For the silver toughie, you can basically do whatever! Silver will oxidize naturally in contact with air and skin. Simply rub it a little with a soft cloth to give it back its full shine.
For the gold-plated softie, it's wise to give it a break from activities like showering, sleeping, swimming, or going on a perfume binge. And please, let's not treat them as a screwdriver for assembling your new IKEA lamp, alright Elisa?
Oh, and here's the ultimate tip for jewelry storage: keep it anywhere BUT the bathroom. If you want your precious to stay in tip-top shape, just trust me on this one.
